Supporting the industry
We’re very pleased to announce that following the recent AGM of the Society of Hospital Linen Service Managers and Laundry Managers that our Customer Services Manager, Tim Meadows, has been appointed the National Secretary of the Society.
Tim says: “The industry has been very good to me over the past 25 years, so this is an ideal opportunity to give something back. I am very fortunate that the team at Interweave are giving me their complete support in taking on this additional role. We believe it is an exciting time for the Society with the introduction of corporate membership allowing allied traders to boost the numbers and expand the already vast wealth of knowledge within the Society”
The Society of Hospital Linen Service Managers & Laundry Managers was formed in 1951 by a group of laundry managers who wanted to improve communication in the industry. The thriving society today has members, throughout the healthcare sector all across the UK. Services provided by the Society to members include offering independent advice, training, benchmarking and contingency planning.
The Society’s website includes a member’s area containing useful reports and the minutes of meetings held round the various regions. There is also a Linkedin group that contains general news and information along with any updates the Society sends out.
