Heavy duty laundry bags are used in hospitals, clinics, care homes and salons. They are used to safely transport soiled or infected linen to the laundry for cleaning.

Healthcare laundry bags tend to be larger than domestic ones. The fabric bags must be able to withstand being washed at hot temperatures for infection control. They also need to be made from very durable fabric. This is so that they last a long time for ongoing use in the workplace.
