This collection accommodates for a wide range of patients, and their needs.
For example, some patients may need to wear a nightgown or nightshirt due to a recent surgery or certain discomforts. They may require more freedom of movement than traditional pyjamas can provide.
Both the pyjamas and nightdresses are available in two sizes: XL (adult size) and 4XL (suitable for bariatric patients). All our patient nightwear is designed to be loose fitting and comfortable. This is important for patients with injuries or painful conditions.
The fabric used for the nightwear features the “HOSPITAL USE ONLY” print in either Autumn colours or Rainbow colours – which is a blue, green and yellow colourway. It is a combination of calming and visually pleasing colours to reduce the anxiety of the patient.
Easy care garments, these nightdresses and pyjamas are made from polycotton. They are launderable at thermal disinfection temperatures. Our range of nightwear is durable and lasts well, it can be washed at high temperatures without changing the integrity of the fabric. There is a colour coded bias-binding trim around the neckline and the pyjama trouser waistline helps nurses and attendants quickly identify the correct size. This saves hospital staff time when selecting patient wear, allowing for a more efficient process.
The pyjama trouser waistband is elasticated; it features fly-buttons and a waist-tie for convenience. Our pyjamas are easy to put on and comfortable to wear. The cut and lengths of our patient nightwear ensures patients have ease of movement and are not restricted as they recover.
