CloseTransfer sheets are useful for all situations where nurses or carers need to reposition someone or move someone from a bed or a gurney to another lateral position. The transfer sheets are available in two widths, standard and wide, both of which are 194cm long.
With six handles down each side, the transfer sheet is most effective when moved by a whole team of carers or assistants to move an immobile patient carefully, without risk of injury to the carers or the patient. You can watch our transfer sheets in action in our product video library.
These transfer sheets are not designed to be laundered, as they are made from strong water repellent non-woven polypropylene. Non-slip and latex-free, the transfer sheet can be safely left underneath a recumbent patient for as long as needed.
In addition to our standard transfer sheets, we also supply ambulance fitted stretcher sheets, and a bariatric multimover. The fitted stretcher sheets are used as a sheet in an ambulance cot, and can then be used to laterally transfer a patient.
Our multimover transfer sheet has eight handles, with a high safe lift weight. Suitable for patients of a higher weight. It is a single use product and is individually packed for ease of use and storage. The bright yellow colour is easy to see and improves visibility.
