Interweave flexibility assists with coronavirus emergency
Having taken a call at 4.55pm on 30th January from an NHS Trust, the Interweave team worked late into the night to fulfil an order for emergency bedding sets. They were required for delivery the next morning. We quickly checked the stock levels available to ensure that we could assist the NHS with their emergency coronavirus contingencies.
This morning, our logistics team efficiently dispatched 300+ sets of critical supplies for delivery to the hospital accommodation in time. This will allow the evacuated UK citizens to have their rooms ready for use on their arrival at this traumatic time. We are proud to assist the NHS in their plans to restrict the contagion.
As always, we put customer service first and foremost, especially if there’s an urgent need. We regularly take calls like this and in the vast majority of cases we’re able to deliver large quantities of healthcare textile products to hospitals and other institutions on a next day basis. Flexibility is key in cases like this.
With the coronavirus now being officially diagnosed in some UK patients, it’s time for everyone to be extra vigilant and stay safe. Read about typical symptoms of coronavirus from the NHS or the information about coronavirus from the World Health Organisation.
