When measuring the foot, measure from the tip of the big toe to just above the ankle. Then compare that measurement to the “Sock full length” shown in the size guide above. Please note that the size names can be misleading – they are the size names and sizes required by the NHS. So please do measure the sock wearer’s foot before purchasing.
Please note that the size shown is suitable for non-swollen feet. If you are buying slipper socks for feet that may be swollen, we recommend you order the next size up from the usual shoe size.

The yellow Fall Prevention Kit provides teams of medical staff and carers a means of effectively identifying high-risk falls patients, by using bright yellow. Comprising a fleece lap blanket and a pair of one size fits all non slip socks. The kit is both a visual cue to staff as well as being a practical way to reduce the risk of falls. The yellow fleece lap blanket measures 96cm long and 71cm wide. This is a perfect size for placing over the lap or over the shoulders.
The yellow non-slip socks in the kit are size XL, which is equivalent to UK adult shoe size 8-11. But, if the patient’s feet or ankles are swollen, we recommend buying larger fall prevention socks and matching them up with the yellow lap blankets as separate items to create your own kits. Therefore, to create your own kit, view the XXL non-slip socks and view the yellow fleece lap blankets.
