These extra large re-usable flat slide sheets with handles are used by hospitals and nursing homes, and are very useful when used as a bariatric slide sheet. The reusable slide sheets are available in teal 100% silicone coated polyester fabric. For infection control, the slide sheets can be washed in a hot wash, to thermal disinfection temperatures. Most importantly, be careful not to use chlorine bleach or softener when laundering the slide sheets as this will be detrimental to the silicone coating.
