Tailored for manual handling in care homes, our elite slide sheet with handles is ideal for moving residents in beds and repositioning. The smooth silicone surface reduces friction, lowering the risk of caregiver strain while maintaining dignity and comfort for residents. Handles ensure a firm grip, perfect for collaborative repositioning tasks.
For infection control, machine wash at thermal disinfection temperatures—but never use chlorine bleach or softeners, as they degrade the silicone coating.
Why choose slide sheets?
-
Supports safe manual handling: The low-friction fabric reduces physical effort, which helps prevent caregiver back injuries, critical in care home environments.
-
Enhanced teamwork: Handles on both sides enable multiple carers to work together when handling residents safely and efficiently.
-
Durable & hygienic: Built to withstand frequent laundering, helping maintain cleanliness in shared use scenarios.
