Sliding sheets for patients are used to safely and smoothly move, turn or reposition patients. They are a commonly used patient handling tool for hospitals and care homes. This Elite patient-specific tubular slide sheet is available at a special reduced price. It measures 120cm x 150cm and is used by hospitals, clinics and nursing homes. The tubular-designed sliding sheets for patients enable nurses and carers to easily slide a patient to a trolley, move a lying down patient to a sitting upright position or use as a bed slide sheet.

Patient slide sheets are made from silicone-impregnated polyester. This soft coating ensures comfort for the patient, protecting their skin from any pain or discomfort whilst being moved or repositioned.

Not suitable for laundering, they are designed to be disposed of, as they are patient-specific. Ideal for facilities or situations where hospital laundry is not accessible or available. There are other sizes of slide sheets available at full price.

For launderable options, we also offer tubular slide sheets in a reusable, launderable fabric. This can be laundered in hospital laundries and is a cost-efficient option.
