We took our best-selling type of slide sheet, and added a unique identifier to benefit the user. The colour indicates the size of the slide sheet, ranging from small to large sizes.
Slide sheets are used in a variety of health and care situations and facilities. One particular area of patient handling that is sometimes overlooked is community patient handling. This was the main consideration when creating our colour-coded reusable slide sheets, as community handlers carry their own kit, and see multiple patients per day.
In this case, easily being able to identify the size of a slide sheet saves time. If you have a stack of slide sheets in your car or kit, having an easy way to locate the right slide sheet streamlines the patient handling process.
Which colour represents each size?
Each colour is easy to spot, specially chosen to represent the relevant size. The colours differentiate from one another clearly. Once you get to know which colour equals which size, you will be able to quickly identify the correct slide sheet to use.
