The label “mmHg” means millimeters of mercury and it indicates the level of pressure or compression.

This is the range of compression most often recommended for reducing swelling and preventing DVT (blood clots) during travel. Often also recommended during pregnancy to prevent “edema” which is the swelling in ankles, feet and legs caused by build-up of fluids.
