What is GSM in towels?
If you have ever looked at buying towels online and been confused by what gsm actually means, you’re not alone. GSM simply means the grams per square metre. Therefore, a low GSM number for a towel would be lighter and thinner.
The higher the number, the thicker and heavier the towel is. For example, our mirage bath sheet is 480gsm, described as a medium weight and the perfect balance of light, fluffy and absorbent.
